Day 1: Airport – Negombo

Meet your English speaking Chauffeur Guide on arrival. Transfer to a  beach hotel in Negambo , visit a fishing village or at leisure in the beach.

Day 2: Negombo – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, Leave for Nuwara Eliya. This will be a fairly long drive of around five hours.

Day 3: Horton Plains

This morning you should make an early start for Horton Plains to arrive at World`s End before the clouds rise! This is a beautiful and fairly gentle walk through a landscape that reminded me of Dartmoor or the Scottish Highlands – a rolling countryside with the soft scent of heather and gorse, and the only noise the gurgling of streams that merge into the crashing Baker`s Falls. You have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Yala National Park

From Nuwara Eliya you will drive down to Yala, a national park where you have a couple of nights to maximize your chances of seeing the leopard and sloth bear of the area. It is also a beautiful area, and your hotel overlooks the coast with a beautiful stretch of deserted beach. It is a long drive but there is plenty to see en route and you can ask your chauffeur-guide to stop for any photo opportunities.

Day 5: Yala National Park

In the morning and late afternoon you will join Jeep safaris into the Yala National Park. These are interesting safaris and you are likely to see spotted deer, wild boar and wild elephant in addition to a wide variety of birds. If you are really lucky you may also spot sloth bear and leopard! With on average one Leopard per square kilometer Yala has the highest density of leopard in Asia.

Day 6: Yala – Udawalawe

You will be driven to Udawalawe today. Here you can visit the Elephant Transit Center where the baby elephants jostle their way to the gate at feeding times, some cheeky ones pushing back into the queue for a second feeding.

Day 7: Udawalawe National Park

You have two game drives in the Udawalawe National Park today, where the bird and animal sightings should be different to your Yala experience.

Day 8: Udawalawe – Sinharaja

You have a further game drive this morning before continuing on to the Sinharaja Biosphere.

Day 9: Sinharaja – Colombo

This morning you can take a walk with a naturalist into the rain-forest where you will be able to see a wide range of wildlife, including some wonderfully exotic insects and endemic species of bird!

Thereafter in the afternoon proceed to Bentota where you will be spending the rest of your holiday at a one place visiting and enjoying various beaches and making interesting guided visits to nearby attractions. At our resort you will find total relax in a nature friendly atmosphere.

Day 09-10-11-12: Leisure

The beautiful resort and spa which you will spend the next few days in offers some great facilities. Relax by the pool or sample of the invigorating therapies this resort and spa offers. You can also visit the Marina a haven for water sports just a few minutes away.

Day 13: Bentota – Colombo – Negombo

In the morning time we will leave for Negombo via Colombo in order to be close to the Airport. On the way we will stop for lunch at Colombo. If interested you can stop to do shopping in Colombo. Proceeding to Negombo check in at Hotel. If desired last evening visit to Negombo city. overnight stay at Negombo.

Day 14: Colombo – Departure

In accordance with your departure time, we will accompany you to the International Airport. Well in time for check in procedure.
